The park area offers covered seating and tables, electric BBQ area which incorporates seating and tables and plenty of grass area for the kids to run around on. There is also a newly established Stage area for outdoor events. Take along your own blanket, chairs etc, to have your own picnic or enjoy a coffee, sandwich, burger or some Indian cuisine from Shimla Curry house (open Wed-Sun 11am-8.30pm) which ajoins the Kyogle Visitor Information Centre nestled in the picturesque parklands on the banks of Fawcetts Creek.
Toilet amenities (including disabled), open 24hr a day, are available adjacent to the Information Centre complex .
There is a good parking area, with plenty of room for vans, mobile homes, trucks, buses and vehicles. The park also offers plenty of room for the kids and like to run around and expell some energy. Though this is a dog friendly area, it is NOT a leash free area for them to run around in. The nearest leash free area for dogs, is at the Recreation/Cricket ground next to the Caravan Park, which is across the Fawcett Creek bridge on Sumerland Way, if you continued north from the Info Centre, about 500 mtrs away.
The Kyogle Bazaar Market is held within the Park area on the 4th Saturday of each month from 9am-2pm (these hrs may change with daylight saving, so please check.) A variety of stalls and live music and other entertainment is on offer each month, so come along for a day in Kyogle and enjoy yourself.
