Peter’s Food Hall – Kyogle

Did you know that Peter’s Food Hall celebrated 100 years of operation as a bustling Kyogle cafe in 2019? A family run local business, they also took over the local NSW Lotteries agency as of May 2019 after the previous location closed.

Originally a busy ‘Greek Milk Bar’, the shop has always welcomed locals and visitors for good food, coffee, and conversation. To mark the centenary, and put a little of our own stamp on the business – they have re-branded with a fresh new logo – that gives a big nod to the cafe’s past.

Inspired by classic Art Deco milk bars, and the cafe’s original logo from the 50’s and 60’s (they found it on some wonderful old crockery), they would love you to see the new logo on their biodegradable and recyclable takeaway packaging.

Same great food and coffee, friendly service (and awesome chicken) is available along with the new logo. A great variety from pizza to barramundi, including kids meals. Whilst you wait you can also by a lotto or lottery ticket. Nothing like a business being versatile these days.

Stop and enjoy eat-in or take-away meals. Variety available, BBQ chooks, salads, sandwiches, pies and other pastries plus vegetarian menus. Open 7 days per week, with late trading till 8pm on Thursday & Friday nights. The staff can cater for functions – contact direct for further details. Perhaps phoning for a booking may be advisable as seating is limited.

The Shimla Curry House – Kyogle

The Shimla Curry House offers authentic Indian cuisine in an alfresco setting. Meals are dine-in or take away. Assorted Indian meals, along with burgers, hot dogs etc or try their sandwiches, toasties, fish and chips, steak sandwiches, milkshakes, tea/coffee and drinks available, along with other delights.

Open Wednesday – Sunday from 5pm-9pm, except on the Kyogle Bazaar Market Day (on the 4th Saturday of each month), when they are open 10am-9pm.

CK Cafe aims to provide flavoursome food and service with a smile. Full take-away menu available for those on the go or if you are happy to sit for a while and relax and revive on your journey experience our quaint dining area (both indoor and outdoor seating options) with a complete cafe menu; including an all day breakfast menu and espresso coffee and a great selection of loose leaf teas. Wiangaree General Store – Wiangaree

We have a little bit of everything; Fast food, a Cafe, a Bottle-shop and various groceries along with a post office.

Wiangaree General Store also features the Big Stick Coffee Van, located alongside the store. Excellent coffee with undercover seating and a wide range of handmade walking sticks and wands for sale.

Known as Bonalbo’s Foodies, Powick’s Pantry offer all things delicious, from fresh-baked sourdough to tarts, quiches lunch meals and award winning condiments all made from scratch by multi award winning baker and chef Simon Powick. Powick’s also offer pizza delivery on Monday nights.

Swan Bay Market

Locally owned, the Swan Bay Market is a green grocer, delicatessen and butcher all in one location. They also serve coffee (great for a take-away) and offer outdoor seating and tables along a small front verandah. They serve an assortment of locally made bread and delicious fresh pastries, jams/pickles, cheeses, fruit and vegs and spices. They offer a selection of local products and fresh produce from around the Northern Rivers and Australia. Located at northern end of town opposite IGA, with a small off street car park.

Wadeville Woolies

Wadeville Woolies is a great cafe food outlet and general store and bottle shop. They also offer clean modern amenities; spacious, grassy camping and van sites, plus some visits from the local wallabies and ducks. Visit the national park during the day and enjoy a fireside meal and perhaps some music with the locals in the evening. Whatever you choose to do you’ll love the park and the people of the area. They offer a range of eat-in meals, takeaways such as burgers, fish & chips, sandwiches etc. They also have a liquor licence.

Cawongla Store

Cawongla Store was built more than 100 years ago and still servicing the local community as the General Store and Post Office. Cawongla Store offers an extensive range of delicious food all made on the premises including gluten-free and vegan options. Serving breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon tea 7 days in our Licensed dining area. Amazing pies every day. Ruby’s Cafe – Kyogle

Open 7 days per week. Great venue for quick refreshments. Monday-Thursday 10am-7.30pm. Friday & Saturday 10am-8pm and Sunday 10am-7.30pm.

Variety of meals and refreshments available, take-away food or eat-in. Fresh seafood, fresh salads including Greek & Caeser, home made pies, cakes and slices and a great range of pizza (Friday and Saturday nights). Espresso coffee. They have an ice cream bar with a great choice of flavours.

They will deliver your pizza from 6pm on Friday nights, within the town limits.

Dave’s Bakehouse – Kyogle

Kyogle is very excited to have Dave’s Bakehouse, Kyogle’s own local bakery, in the main street. If you want to sample some of the best breads, pies and pastries on the Northern Rivers, call in enjoy an espresso coffee or fine tea and spoil your taste buds with the variety of choices.
