The undercover area with BBQ, table and bush kitchen is a good place to talk, eat, or listen to the Honeyeaters in the Banksias and Glossy Cockatoos in the Forest Oaks. (150 bird species have been seen on Lanikai). Suggested activities, bushwalk to Pretty Gully Creek or rainforest regeneration area, bushwalk to the river, go fishing, watch wildlife, watch the stars, see the rainforest reserve. Fires are permitted at some places on the camping ground (see Jim for info). Some firewood is supplied, so please keep fires small. The showers are wood headed by the heater at back of showers, so please use hot water in moderation.
Motor bikes may only be used to accesss the camping ground from Paddy’s Flat Rd.  There is NO TRACK RIDING allowed. 4WD’s may be used to access point of interest, on tracks, in dry weather.
Campers may visit Lanikai Gardens at any time between 10am-4pm daily.
Tea or coffee and scones (or other refreshments) are available at Lanikai garden $5 per person, please give Lyn two hours notice for requirements.
