DESCRIPTION:JULY 27th | 8am – 1pm | LIVE Music from 9am.\nThe Civic Heart of Kyogle comes alive in 2026 with the Stratheden Street Markets!\nKyogle’s key market events – KYOGLE BAZAAR and the KYOGLE FARMERS’ MARKET – bring the best of the LGA to a closed off Stratheden Street. Live Music\, featuring some of the best-of-the-region’s touring musicians. Market stalls\, artisan producers\, fresh produce\, and crafts and wares will line the length and breadth of Stratheden Street and the Kyogle Council Park.\nJULY FEATURED ARTISTS | GHZ5TET | Gregorio Hills Zorzo Quintet | Eclectic Funk Jazz\n\nFive Exceptional Instrumentalists come together in a rare gathering of accomplished local and not so local North Coast musicians.\n\nShenzo Gregorio: Strings  \n Barry Hill: Electric and Acoustic bass  \nMatt Hill: Keys and Piano  \nScott Hills: Drums and Percussion.  \nLucas Zorzo: Guitars  \nMatt Hill Award winning Terranora based artist Matt Hill writes and performs rolling and evocative music drawing on a wide range of sonic adventures. He cut his teeth in 1990s New York\, drumming with indie grunge band Cow in Plaid\, then moved to Lismore for a guitar performance degree and then on to Melbourne\, where he joined ambient instrumental trio amphibian as the keyboard player. He has released 4 solo albums\, including the Dolphin Award winning ‘Warm Keep Warm’. Beyond his own records\, Matt has collaborated as performer\, composer and sound designer across film\, theatre\, dance and video\, including the NORPA production Engine \nScott Hills  has performed with many of Australia’s well-known artists and has taught hundreds of young drummers over the past 25 years. Performance/recording credits: Graeme Connors\, John Williamson\, Troy Cassar-Daley and many others \nAustralian guitarist\, composer and songwriter Lucas Zorzo work spans jazz\, blues\, rock\, country and acoustic music. An experienced band leader and performer\, Lucas has played extensively throughout Australia\, the United Kingdom\, Europe and the United States\, earning a reputation for his expressive playing and broad musical range. He studied jazz performance at London’s Trinity College of Music and holds a Master of Music Studies in Jazz Guitar from the Queensland Conservatorium\, combining strong technical foundations with a passion for engaging live performance. \nShenzo Gregorio A classically trained violinist and violist\, known for his eclectic\, genre-blurring style\, he has won multiple awards\, including a Golden Fiddle Award for ‘Best Violinist’ and an ARIA award. Beyond traditional playing\, Shenzo gained global fame for creating Shenzo’s Electric Stunt Orchestra\, a world-first aerial act where musicians are suspended in the air to play. His diverse musical career spans several notable roles and ensembles \nBass Player Barry Hill is an eclectic and multifaceted artist that has produced a range of music\, dance\, theatre and film works in Australia and Overseas.  His music credits include Electronic Dance acts The Bird\, as well as collaborations with the Resin Dogs\, Kev Carmody and the Punjabi inspired Jazz Fusion Group “Dha”.  He has produced 5 albums with the seminal live electronica Trio Amphibian\, and two solo albums.  His currently Music Director of the Kwasi Bruni Afro (Austro)Cuban Big Band project. \n  \n \nSpend the day in the art-deco heart of Kyogle\, stay the weekend and explore our stunning region\, best known as The Gateway to the Rainforests.\nProudly funded by the NSW Government’s Open Streets program\, in association with Kyogle Council\, Kyogle Bazaar Inc\, and the Kyogle Farmers’ Markets.\n  \n \n \n  \n  \n  \n  \n\n
