Four thousand hectares of river crafted country has been preserved in a wildlife refuge that is noted for the diverse abundance of its native animals and the wild splendour of its scenery.

Bushwalking and birdwatching are popular past times here with over 160 different types of birds sighted in this area. Accommodation facilities include:
“The Lodge” – 2 self contained cabins which sleep either 4 or 8 people. Each cabin has a gas hot water system, gas stove, fridge, cooking utensils and solar powered lighting. Sit on the verandah or under the stars and enjoy the quiet.
Bush huts – spend a while under canvas in authentic bushmans huts with private verandahs nestled into the hills, but using shared amenities (wood-fired showers and compost toilet) and camp kitchen. The huts have bunk beds (x4) or a double bed (accommodating 2 people only).
The Camping sites are on a 5ha mown river flat, with a small unisex shared compost amenities unit with access also to wood-fired showers. Check their website for current tariffs for accommodation and activities.
