The Kyogle and District Chamber of Commerce welcomes you to the first Kyogle Fringe Festival, a new event that has been built around the staging of the 20th anniversary of the World Rally Championships in Australia.

The Kyogle Fringe Festival is a celebration of the people and the place and an opportunity for you to explore the world heritage values of this Gondwanan rainforest area.

We hope you enjoy our Festival and your time in Kyogle and that you tread lightly while you are here and take home some knowledge about our natural, cultural and built heritage.

You can stay in Kyogle at the Kyogle Campground or Officials Campground or with one of our great accommodation providers by getting in touch with the Kyogle Visitor Information Centre. They’ll let you know where you can get accommodation in the Kyogle area, or in some other scenic location away from the hustle and bustle.

Come a couple of days early and go on a cultural tour with Bundjalahm in the afternoon and see the latest in country fashion at the Anglican ladies Spring Summer Fashion Parade in the evening.

The “On-the-fringe Film Festival” on Friday night will feature the classics from yesterday including ‘Easy Rider”, “Checkered Flag” and the original “Mad Max” and we hope to have Eric Bana introduce his film “The Beast” on the night.

There will be heaps to see and do in Kyogle on Saturday with the Tidy Towns Farmers and Craft Market. “Massive Movie Marathon” in the evening will be a hit with the modern moviegoer, featuring “Cars”, “Dukes of Hazard”, “Fast and the Furious”, “Days of Thunder” and “Transformers” or dress in your finest and come to our Glitz Glamour and Gourmet regional food showcase and cabaret. Be entertained by our very own Les Girls and sample fine wines and produce from the Northern Rivers. Keep your eyes out for “The Stig”.

Sunday will have everyone on their feet with the WRC cars and teams in Kyogle’s main street as the street comes alive from 8am.
