The Urbenville Forest Park is a leafy picnic and camping area, located on the town’s boundary. It is an ideal base to explore the natural attractions and history of the area.
Parking is available for up to 96 hours with powered and non-powered sites available. Facilities include toilets, showers and woodfire barbeques, shaded seating and water. The cost is $10 per van per night, payable at the local newsagency/Post office ( 48 Urben St). Pets are permitted at the site on leads.
Surrounding Urbenville you will find many waterfalls and swimming holes, including the Tooloom Falls and Bean Creek Falls. Visitors can enjoy fishing, canoeing and fossicking, or exploring some of the interesting volcanic landforms close by. This is a RV Friendly destination.
