Situated at the picturesque Toonumbar Dam, the retreat can cater for large and small groups to singles. A charming and peaceful location for conferences, meetings, families, friends and social groups. The TWR also serves as an excellent venue for weddings. Facilities include a fully equipped conference room, spacious commercial kitchen. dinning room, barbecue’s, self-contained cottages and flats as well as twin share accommodation sleeping a maximum of 54 people. Toonumbar Waters Retreat has excellent golf, fishing and tennis facilities, plus bushwalking, birdwatching among other relaxing leisure activities which includes Canoes for use on the dam.
Located in the reserve at Toonumbar Dam, it is about a 40min drive ( 33klms) west of Kyogle. The last 8 klms is unsealed road usually in good condition.
If you intend to do any fishing, you will require a fishing licence which are available from the Kyogle Visitors Information Centre (open 7 days per week), cnr Anzac Drive, where you turn off Summerland way to head to the dam.
